  • Good to have skills: Cloud Automation DevOps, Infrastructure As Code (IaC), Ansible on Microsoft Azure
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes (Pods, Deployments, Services, Helm)
  • Familiarity with database provisioning and backup automation
  • Proficiency with Git (branching, merge conflicts, pull requests)
  • Strong scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
  • Solid understanding of networking and OS fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Independently own platform components and implement automation
  • Provision and manage cloud resources (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep
  • Apply IaC standards across environments and technology stack
  • Maintain reusable IaC modules and ensure version-controlled infrastructure delivery
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Integrate testing, security scans, and linting in pipelines
  • Manage containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) using Helm or Kustomize
  • Deploy workloads to Kubernetes clusters using YAML manifests
  • Implement basic RBAC, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Ingress configurations
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting on failed deployments and optimize runbooks/playbooks
  • Automate provisioning of DB services (RDS, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Integrate monitoring and backup policies into platform automation
  • Use Git branching and merging strategies effectively; manage pull requests and code reviews
  • Collaborate with developers, infra, and QA teams to resolve issues
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing within the team
  • Stay current with cloud-native tools and best practices
  • Participate in retrospectives, suggesting improvements in platform processes
  • Learn and support integration of AI-assisted tools for automation, code generation, and troubleshooting
  • Use AI copilots (GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Studio, ChatGPT) to contribute to IaC, scripts, and pipelines
  • Assist in basic AI-driven workflow automation (e.g., log analysis, alert summarization, runbook suggestions)
  • Participate in AI-enabled project activities: requirement understanding, data preparation, testing AI outputs
  • Explore cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI) with guidance
