Requirements

Experience building a guest-first culture and guest service fundamentals
Knowledge of retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies)
Skills in leading a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
Ability to plan department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
Expertise in operations, process improvements, workload efficiency, accuracy, and efficiency
Ability to work a flexible schedule aligning to guest and business needs (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
If applicable, ability to act as a key carrier following safe and secure training and processes

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing guest service experience; model, train, and coach expectations to deliver service standards
Lead team and drive fulfillment goals; understand role in supporting sales growth and store profitability
Utilize workload planning tools to ensure team completes scheduled workload and fulfills orders to meet delivery and service standards
Review fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop resolution plans
With direction from leader, create daily plans for the team
Enable efficient delivery by leading pickup and ship-from-store workload
Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions; develop a guest-centric team and support leader in onboarding
Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness; hold team members accountable and close training gaps through coaching
Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked; partner with leader for ordering
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; lead team accordingly
