Requirements

  • Skills and experience in guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture
  • Knowledge of retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies
  • Ability to plan department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals
  • Expertise in process improvements and workload efficiency
  • Leadership skills for a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule aligning to guest and business needs (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • If applicable, ability to serve as a key carrier following safe and secure training and processes

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a service culture prioritizing guest service experience; model, train, and coach team to deliver service standards
  • Lead team and drive fulfillment goals; understand role in supporting sales growth and store profitability
  • Utilize workload planning tools to ensure team completes scheduled workload and fulfills orders to meet delivery/service standards
  • Review fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop resolution plans
  • With leader direction, create daily plans for the team
  • Serve as expert in operations, accuracy, process, and efficiency
  • Enable efficient guest delivery by leading pickup and ship-from-store workload
  • Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions; develop guest-centric team and support leader in onboarding
  • Establish clear goals for quality, accuracy, and timeliness; hold team accountable and close training gaps via coaching
  • Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked; partner with leader for ordering
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices, being authentic/respectful, and creating equitable experiences
  • Demonstrate culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; lead team accordingly
