High school diploma/GED or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience
CDL Class A experience preferred
Knowledge of food safety policies and preferred work methods
Skill in communicating with co-workers and solving problems
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English related to the job and safety regulations
Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities independently without direct supervision
Ability to be flexible, prioritize work, and solve problems
Ability to operate a pressure washer with waste water reclamation device and movable stairs
Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly
Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds by hand and push/pull up to 100 pounds frequently
Ability to climb in and out of trailers, reach, bend, and twist
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Operate high pressure water hose to clean and sanitize insides of trailers according to established standards (e.g., proper disposal of trash, sweeping, pressure washing)
Keep wash area free of debris and ensure all waste water is reclaimed
Inspect trailers for mechanical defects and report all defects to fleet maintenance supervisor
Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including pressure washer, movable stairs, and personal protective equipment
Ensure all environmental laws and food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines
Assist with maintaining sanitary conditions in trailers and truck yard
Follow preferred work methods at all times and immediately advise management of any unsafe conditions or environmental issues
Complete cleaning records in a timely manner according to established company standards
Work assigned schedule, work overtime as needed, and exhibit regular and predictable attendance
Other duties as assigned by management
