FRONTLINE Internship

Position Overview

FRONTLINE, PBS's flagship public affairs program, is seeking an intellectually curious and hardworking student to assist with the process of making a documentary program. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with broadcast and journalism professionals and learn the intricacies of producing long-format investigative documentary television.

Department Overview

Since 1983, FRONTLINE has been America's premiere investigative documentary journalism series, producing incisive films that cover the scope and complexity of the human experience. The FRONTLINE editorial team oversees the production of approximately 20 programs each season.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research
  • Assist with the story submission review process
  • Maintain the series library
  • Field producer and viewer inquiries

Requirements

  • Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills
  • A stellar work ethic
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must have their own computer and access to Wi-Fi.
  • Candidates must be in an Undergrad or Grad program and have work authorization for the United States.

Internship Program Details

  • Internship Dates: September 15th to December 5th
  • GBH internships provide students with valuable work experience and real-world knowledge across many different fields of study.
