Responsibilities

  • Train and qualify within an 8-week period for entry-level, non-skilled general labor roles while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Machine Feeder: Place product onto the conveyor belt correctly positioned for the machine; test machinery periodically; keep records of machine testing and failures
  • Wing Cutter: Remove wings from the breast frame with minimal breast meat left on the wing; grade off bad wings and place good wings on the conveyor belt
  • Breast Trimmer: Remove boneless breast fillets from the conveyor; trim bones, skin, and cartilage; place fillet back onto the conveyor
  • Breast Puller: Manually remove breast meat from the frame using hands and knife; inspect butterfly and frame; trim bones or place filets for further inspection as needed
  • Shoulder Cutter: Cut the front half at the shoulder joint to standard, ensuring pulley bones, scapula bones are clean, eye meat removed, and pulled to appropriate length
  • Utility Labor: Maintain product flow and supply of supplies; fill in for various line positions/tasks as needed
  • Tender Scorer/Puller: Cut breast tenderloin from the breast shell without cutting into the tender; remove any bones from the tenderloin
  • Cone Stabber: Place front halves on debone cones correctly without missing, dropping, damaging ribs, or splitting keel bones
