Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a native Italian speaker with C1+ level English proficiency and 1-3 years of experience in subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process, demonstrating a passion for their native language and culture, including expert knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities.
Responsibilities
As a Freelance Subtitler, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering Italian subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules, receiving feedback from the Language Coordinator and effectively implementing it into revised subtitles, meeting tight deadlines while handling multiple projects and responding to feedback within 24 hours, assisting in creating localized metadata, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, and building familiarity with the Beast brand to become an effective and helpful resource.
