Welocalize is seeking experienced English into Armenian translators to join our growing team for a global client. This role involves translating and reviewing content from English into Armenian, ensuring accurate and understandable communication for the target audience. The translator will work on various content types including informational, legal, marketing, product, and support materials. This is a freelance, remote position.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 3 years’ experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter (marketing, product, and informational).
• Language Proficiency: Native fluency in Armenian. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Skills:
  • Proficient in various translation & terminology tools.
  • Knowledge of UI, CS, and creative (synopses, episodic titles) concepts.
  • Ability to follow instructions (e.g., character restrictions).
  • Ability to communicate the rationale behind transcreation skills.
• Education: Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate and review content from English into Armenian with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Work on various content types: “Informational,” “Legal,” “Marketing,” “Product,” “Support.”
• Ensure accuracy and quality of translated content.
