Requirements

4+ years of backend-heavy or fullstack software engineering experience (open to varying YoE/seniority)
Excited to help scale an early-stage startup, including building a high-performance, patient-centric, and team-first culture
Have built and launched early-stage products — ideally in a startup environment
Self-starter — excited to get in the weeds and proactively take on important problems for the business
Care deeply about user experience and product quality (e.g., open to doing user interviews, helping define requirements)
Passionate about increasing the role of food and nutrition in the US healthcare system
Based in the NYC metro area (Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office required)

Responsibilities

Help build the core product: engine and platform combining high-touch nutrition therapy with AI coaching and delightful food content, guiding patients through bite-sized changes
Integrate seamlessly into clinical pathways: work on integrations making Pom accessible at the point-of-care at practices and hospitals
Prepare to scale reliably: make foundational technical decisions allowing nimble experimentation and scaling
Set the tone for the engineering team: build a high-caliber, humble, team-oriented, and mission-driven technology org
Work closely with founders and early team as a co-architect shaping product, platform, and team culture
