Candidates should possess 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with senior-level expertise, including experience building a product from the ground up in a startup environment, preferably at the seed or series A stage. They should have a strong track record of rapid iteration and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, early-stage company.
The Founding Engineer will design and architect the foundational infrastructure for NegotiateAI’s procurement platform, integrating it with ERP systems, supplier databases, and spend analytics tools. They will identify key technical requirements for optimizing workflows related to indirect spend categorization using RAG+LLMs, unique part identification extraction, agentic AI-driven benchmarking, and agentic AI negotiation automation. The engineer will implement LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI pipelines to process procurement data, generate insights, and power intelligent spend recommendations, while also applying data privacy principles and ensuring security compliance, including GDPR standards and SOC II. Furthermore, they will train LLMs and implement agentic AI specifically tailored to procurement, creating intelligent agents for benchmark research, data cleaning, supplier contact discovery, cost reduction, and value generation.
