Requirements

  • Broad, systems-level understanding of the full robotic tech stack, both software and hardware
  • Passion for developing robotic solutions that operate in the real world at scale
  • Ability to perform system-level performance analysis and drive system-level solutions through hands-on engineering
  • Experience partnering with other teams, third-party partners, and customers
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations (typically 50% of time on-site)
  • Comfort working in warehouse conditions (temperature variations, industrial noise) with prolonged standing or walking
  • Location: Redwood City, CA (office desk-based tasks and lab-floor testing)

Responsibilities

  • Bridge gaps between Dexterity's standard product and challenges of new customer engagements or market segments
  • Bring new applications online in the field and demonstrate operational metrics for rapid fleet-wide scaling
  • Drive new solution operations in the field to ensure successful pilot outcomes, resolve early issues, and meet customer KPIs
  • Drive fixes and improvements based on field experience with proper methodologies for traceability, change management, and eliminating repeat occurrences
  • Release solutions ready to scale, meeting operator expectations for ease of use, uptime, and operator:robot ratio
  • Serve as the named technical point-of-contact for one or more strategic sites to build customer trust
  • Develop new integrations, robotic skills, and capabilities to meet customer challenges; incorporate field learning into core platform capabilities
  • Deliver actionable bug reports and reproducible cases to accelerate root-cause analysis
  • Develop new tooling, documentation, and guidance for application services teams at pilot and production sites; collect and curate information to drive support system automation
