Requirements
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in software or customer engineering roles, particularly in customer-facing engagements. Proficiency in front-end development using frameworks like React or Next.js, and back-end development skills in Python, Node.js, or similar is required. Familiarity with deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential. Candidates must have a track record of leading complex implementations of Generative AI or traditional ML solutions, and possess knowledge of network/cloud architecture. Effective communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences are necessary.
Responsibilities
The Forward Deployed Engineer will embed deeply with strategic customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements. They will design, architect, and develop full-stack solutions using an experiment-driven, iterative approach. The engineer will prepare detailed scopes of work and project plans for both proof-of-concept prototypes and full production deployments. They will work hands-on with customers' technical teams as a trusted advisor, coding side-by-side to drive projects to completion. Collaboration with Sales, Technical Success, and Applied teams will be essential to ensure seamless customer experiences and project success, while contributing to internal knowledge bases and codifying best practices.
