Responsibilities

  • Partner with area leadership, sales, and support teams to build value, grow customer relationships, and drive profitable sales growth
  • Serve as culinary consultants and experts to drive customer business success
  • Lead product and sales training, drive engagement in strategic growth initiatives, and share knowledge from Food Fanatics program, events, and chef team
  • Seek new business in collaboration with NBM, Sales, and sales leadership
  • Cultivate relationships in the local restaurant community through local and national organizations
  • Develop relationships by asking questions, identifying pain points, and offering solutions, while maintaining communication with sellers
  • Create or use materials to drive education and adoption of exclusive US Foods products
  • Demonstrate excellence in culinary demonstrations to teach, connect, and inspire customers
  • Identify and report culinary trends and opportunities to local leadership or Regional Culinary Manager
  • Lead and oversee food components at sales meetings and division events to create a food-driven culture
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, product cuttings, sales conferences, and general sales meetings with the area team
  • Develop and conduct kitchen/operations assessments, present conclusions, and recommend products to achieve customer business goals
  • Provide customized, costed recipes using Menu Profit Pro and collaborate with ROC partners
  • Engage in effective team-based communication using the Sous tool in line with US Foods cultural beliefs
