Requirements

8+ years of B2B product marketing experience in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software company, with a focus on data infrastructure, analytics, or cloud-native platforms
Proven track record of successfully managing and executing go-to-market strategies for technical products
Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, customer success, and technical marketing teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with a focus on supporting product adoption and measurable outcomes
Familiarity and support of open source technologies and business models
Experience in stream processing technologies, including familiarity with tools like Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, or similar technologies for real-time data streaming
Knowledge of modern data architectures, real-time analytics, event-driven architectures, and ETL processes is highly desirable
Familiarity with Confluent, Confluent Cloud, and Confluent Platform for Apache Flink

Responsibilities

Develop and execute high-impact launch and ongoing GTM strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth
Craft compelling messaging, enablement resources, and thought leadership that emphasize Apache Flink's essential role in the data streaming ecosystem
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product direction, prioritize features, and nurture customer value
Identify product market fit with sales and customer success teams to develop strategies for high-value accounts and key industries
Guide the creation of high-quality marketing assets across teams, including sales and field teams
Represent Confluent at conferences, events, and webinars as a subject matter expert, sharing insights and connecting with diverse audiences
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the stream processing space
Identify and prioritize product roadmaps, features, and enhancements to support customer adoption and revenue growth
