Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain US government security clearance
  • 5+ years relevant/related experience
  • 3+ years of Field Operations Instructor experience
  • High school diploma (Relevant Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Knowledgeable in military tactics, operations, GPS and Navigation utilizing map and compass
  • Demonstrate above average computer skills and proficiency with office software, productivity tools, and relevant flight software
  • Clean driving record required
  • Available to travel up to 75% CONUS and/or OCONUS
  • Strong communication, active listening, judgement, decision-making, critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Military experience preferred: Special Operations Forces, Infantry, Unmanned Aircraft Operations or maintenance background highly preferred
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties, and at times be able to work autonomously
  • Display strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives
  • Focus on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interests
  • Experience supporting C4ISR, demonstrations and training, integrating networks like ATAK and AV C2 Systems, using tactical/commercial radios
  • Physical Demands: Lift and/or move between 70-100 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Perform demonstrations and training in support of AV’s product lines & Business Development
  • Coordinate directly with all agencies and customers, internal & external, to plan and coordinate support for flight training and demonstration events
  • Assist in leading team to accomplish mission by providing goals to team members
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of AV’s products/services and current operational procedures
  • Work closely with Export/Trade Compliance
  • Represent AV’s products and services as a subject matter expert, attend periodic DOD & International meetings and conferences, exhibitions and symposiums, as required
  • Work with customers to understand CONOPS and shape how AV’s products provide solutions
  • Operator establishes and manages tactical/commercial radio networks to support live demos and trainings
  • Support Business Development and Sales Team activities
  • Perform CONUS/OCONUS flight and ground demonstrations
  • Perform CONUS/OCONUS customer service visits
  • Perform Field Operations training events
  • Perform FSR deployments CONUS/OCONUS
  • Capture critical information for input into after-action reports and lessons learned databases
  • Other duties as assigned
  • When available, assist AV main office locations with logistics, equipment preparation, and other duties necessary to accomplish AV’s mission objectives
