Requirements

  • MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international organization
  • Good knowledge of VAT regulations and social insurances/taxes
  • Excellent skills in Excel
  • Experience with accounting systems; knowledge of FIS is a pre
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily payment process via the bank, including creating payments, payment batches, and direct debit batches on local bank accounts
  • Daily process bank transactions in the accounting package FIS
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts related to banks, creditors, and debtors
  • Check and process purchase invoices
  • Ensure timely and correct payments to suppliers
  • Maintain contacts with suppliers and internal departments
  • Process employee expense claims
  • Contribute to process improvements within the financial administration
  • Participate in financial projects
  • Prepare sales invoices
  • Support treasury activities
  • Other ad hoc tasks within the financial administration
