Requirements

  • 18 months - 2 years funds OR audit experience essential
  • Knowledge of Irish/ UK GAAP and International GAAP essential
  • Accounting / Finance qualification or part qualified Accountant
  • Account preparation experience with experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the Advent Geneva system
  • Knowledge of Sungard InvestOne system
  • P.C. literate – experience of Microsoft Office package essential
  • Fluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of Annual, Interim and Quarterly Financial Statements
  • Assisting in the coordinating, planning and completion of audits / audit requirements
  • Completing monthly and quarterly Central Bank of Ireland Regulatory Filings
  • Completing Annual and Semi-Annual Filings
  • Maintaining a Central Library of All Audited Financial Statements
  • Compliance with service level agreements with the accounting teams / external stakeholders
  • Responding to queries and information requests from clients and/ or auditors within defined deadlines
  • Compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements (CBI and relevant marketing institutions)
  • Working with Financial Reporting Team members to ensure deadlines are met
  • Train, coach and mentor employees on the team where appropriate
  • Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Well-being for all employees for whom you have responsibility
  • Adhoc tasks / projects as required
