Candidates must possess a Master of Commerce (MCom), Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, MBA in Finance, or CPA qualification. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is required, with domain expertise in core finance and FP&A processes. Proficiency in managing annual plans, budgeting, and forecasting is essential, along with a strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles, as well as experience in developing financial reports and metrics, is necessary. The role demands the ability to thrive in a constantly changing, diverse, and competitive environment, understanding operational impacts of strategies, and operating in unstructured environments across multiple business areas. Strong communication skills to convey financial information clearly to non-financial managers and deliver professional commercial solutions are also required. Experience with Power BI and SAP HANA is preferred.
The Financial Plan & Analysis Analyst will determine financial outcomes by collecting operational data, conducting analysis, and reconciling transactions. Responsibilities include financial planning, reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. The analyst will design and implement tools and processes for financial statement analysis, assessing materiality and volatility using financial ratios. Key duties involve driving financial operational performance, managing the forecasting and budgeting process, and analyzing headcount and staff costs. This includes tracking the monthly impact of cost-out initiatives and reviewing forecasts. The role requires delivering timely analysis of results to business owners and senior management, reviewing monthly performance against forecast/budget, investigating variances, and resolving issues. Providing support for monthly and quarterly business reviews and preparing full-year forecasts/AOP, including identifying gap-closing initiatives and recommendations, are also core responsibilities.
