Actively pursuing CPA designation
3+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with interest in manufacturing and cost accounting
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong communication, attention to detail, and proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights clearly to various audiences
Solid understanding of accounting frameworks (GAAP and IFRS)

Responsibilities

Prepare and streamline journal entries and assist in the month-end closing process
Own reporting for selling entities and ensure warehouse inventory accuracy
Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, while enhancing the reconciliation framework and coaching peers
Deliver month-end reporting and analysis in line with business needs
Support the development of procedures and documentation in sales/margin analysis, inventory, costing, and reporting
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requests
Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and GAAP/IFRS standards
Build knowledge in cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and plant P&L management
Shadow plant Financial Analysts as part of succession and career development
Use Excel, macros, and reporting tools to streamline reconciliations and reporting
Identify and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance
Support integration of new entities into the company’s finance and control framework
