Requirements

  • Actively pursuing CPA designation
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with interest in manufacturing and cost accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights clearly to various audiences
  • Solid understanding of accounting frameworks (GAAP and IFRS)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and streamline journal entries and assist in the month-end closing process
  • Own reporting for selling entities and ensure warehouse inventory accuracy
  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, while enhancing the reconciliation framework and coaching peers
  • Deliver month-end reporting and analysis in line with business needs
  • Support the development of procedures and documentation in sales/margin analysis, inventory, costing, and reporting
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requests
  • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and GAAP/IFRS standards
  • Build knowledge in cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and plant P&L management
  • Shadow plant Financial Analysts as part of succession and career development
  • Use Excel, macros, and reporting tools to streamline reconciliations and reporting
  • Identify and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance
  • Support integration of new entities into the company’s finance and control framework
