  • Strong capability in understanding and operating a complex business reliant on capital, labor, creative expertise, and technology
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Prior experience in entertainment, theme parks, or resort leisure industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform internal audit-related tasks from a risk-based approach, review control policies and processes, identify risks, propose and drive optimization and remediation measures
  • Assist in maintaining the company's internal control environment and support various business lines to fulfill financial responsibilities and performance goals
  • Work in a team-oriented, project-driven environment with business unit leaders to improve the internal control environment; partner with global Parks & Resorts audit teams on best practices
  • Execute audit tasks efficiently in a project-based structure, accurately understand control processes and procedures, document key control matrices, design and execute audit programs to identify risks and deficiencies
  • Benchmark against Disney and China domestic best practices, propose improvement schemes, present audit findings and internal control enhancement recommendations to leadership
  • Drive ongoing improvements in corporate governance and internal control environment by identifying risks and providing expert recommendations via policies/procedures, training/communication, continuous monitoring/internal auditing, and periodic operational control reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other business departments to understand business needs and ensure key business process controls are well-designed and effectively executed
  • Financial Compliance: Evaluate effectiveness of IT and non-IT internal controls over financial reporting, facilitate certification processes to ensure no material weaknesses
  • Internal Controls Compliance: Conduct compliance audits to test internal controls and policy adherence, deliver internal audit reports for management actions, foster cross-department collaboration on risks and deficiencies
  • Expense Compliance: Assess procurement and travel policy compliance through audit projects
  • Internal Control Process Improvement: Identify control deficiencies and improvement opportunities, propose enhancement schemes
  • Execute other special audits or ad-hoc tasks assigned by leadership
