Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with up to 2 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within the retail or restaurant sectors. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools such as Excel and Tableau is essential, alongside strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and communicating findings effectively. A detail-oriented approach and excellent organizational skills are also required.
The Financial Analyst will prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections. They will assist in developing annual budgets and forecasts, monitor key performance indicators, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for various operational decisions. This role involves collaborating with department heads to evaluate financial impacts, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership, and maintaining financial models. Additionally, the analyst will participate in due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, prepare presentations for leadership, and support month-end and year-end close processes, including assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
