Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in commercial real estate or related field
  • Proficiency in Excel with advanced modeling skills; familiarity with Argus, CoStar, and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • (Preferred) Experience working on property valuation or investment sales teams
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with retail, office, or net lease commercial real estate, 1031 exchanges, and capital markets structures
  • (Preferred) Working knowledge of real estate finance concepts and industry metrics

Responsibilities

  • Review rent rolls & operating statements, then utilize Excel to underwrite and create cash flow statements and property valuations on commercial real estate including retail, office, medical, and net lease
  • Conduct investment analysis, including cash-on-cash returns, and sensitivity scenarios to defend valuations
  • Analyze leases, property reports, and other financial documents as preliminary due diligence to ensure that any potential issues are uncovered prior to marketing
  • Assist in preparing offering memorandums, pitch books, and client presentations with compelling financial narratives
  • Track and interpret market trends, comparable sales, lease comps, and economic indicators to help provide more accurate valuations
  • Collaborate closely with brokers, research analysts, marketing, and finance teams to support transaction execution and strategy development
