Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA Certification highly preferred
  • Workiva Delivery Certification highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, including SEC reporting and statutory reporting, with a proven track record of project management in these areas, including a mix of public accounting, consulting, or industry accounting experience
  • Experience managing financial reporting automation projects through technology implementation and process improvement
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, crafting customized solutions for clients that meet all regulatory requirements
  • Workiva implementations and optimizations within the Financial Reporting solution (in a consulting role and/or in partnership with Workiva)
  • Demonstrated ability to project manage and deliver on complex engagements
  • Able to work as part of a team or as an individual contributor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in navigating and managing client relationships, building trust, and establishing credibility as an advisor

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and project manage financial reporting automation projects, including Workiva implementations, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute financial reporting process improvement roadmaps, assessing current reporting environment, and advising on best practices for streamlining and automating the reporting process
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients at the project team level, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication and alignment on project status and deliverables
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for integrity, professionalism, and client service, and fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and excellence in every aspect of our practice
