Requirements

Prior experience in Financial Services operating in research/analysis/advisory type roles or with transferable experience from within CPG environment
Deep sector knowledge of the Global CPG market and how the external market makes investment choices in equity related strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Partner with the Strategy, IR and M&A teams to determine strategic value and choices
Drive strategic planning and investment choices with senior stakeholders across the organisation
Support the Strategy function to deliver and govern high value-at-stake strategic projects (e.g., new growth opportunity evaluations, M&A, geographic expansion, penetration), including long-range planning
Work with BU/Functions and Categories to develop medium to long range strategic plans, leveraging deep sector expertise (e.g., key strategic drivers, trends, competitive insights)
Bring finance capability, governance, and financial acumen to evolve the Haleon value creation framework and build organisation capability in short & long-term decision making
Work with the CFO, CEO and FLT to define the Haleon capital allocation strategy and key choices (e.g., dividend policy, share buy backs, capital investment and M&A)
Work across internal and external groups to bring competitor benchmarks and intelligence to strengthen understanding of investor expectations and inform strategic choices
Leverage specialist knowledge of investors and financial institutions to frame key strategic options for the HET
Partner with business leaders to craft clear narratives, high-quality papers and presentations for the Board and external stakeholders (with IR)
Work with Finance and BU Leaders to elevate the organisation’s use of external perspectives from investors and financial institutions to sharpen decision making
