Requirements

  • Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) acquiring is preferable
  • 1-2 years of post-qualification experience or post degree
  • Experience in Financial Reporting, Finance controlling or Audit Firm
  • Understanding of IFRS
  • Understanding of Control / SOX environment
  • Previous experience of SAP preferred
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent English (minimum B2)

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the team accountable for the reporting of financial results for an entity or cluster of smaller entities, with commentary including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow for its accuracy and completeness
  • Participate in delivery of a complete, accurate and timely set of IFRS reporting (corporate reporting) for an entity or cluster of smaller entities
  • Support all aspects of the financial month end review process, reporting requirements, facilitating month end meetings, maintaining risk register & coordinating with all external stakeholders
  • Help to perform variance analysis for P&L (e.g. Operating expenses, Margins and Profitability etc.) and Balance Sheet, review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans
  • Help to ensure entities' results are fully compliant with all relevant accounting standards, current best practice and any other regulations
  • Ensure business complies with all aspects of the internal / external financial control environment
  • Support the inputs to the external and internal financial audits
  • Cooperate with our tax providers – review of declarations for VAT, CIT, other taxes
