Job Description

The FP&A Team in Costa Rica is seeking a Finance Business Partner to manage FP&A functions for ECS D2C in North America. This role serves as an extension of the ECS Finance team in the United States and offers high visibility with executive leadership, including the CFO, Senior Vice Presidents, and Vice-Presidents. You will collaborate with finance teams across the North America region to enhance planning and reporting functions through standardization.

Reporting to: FP&A Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support monthly, quarterly, and budget reporting and analysis for Regional North America, providing accurate financial insights.
  • Month-End Close & MMC Leadership: Lead month-end close, forecast, and budget processes for ECS D2C Costs, coordinating with finance teams for timely completion.
  • Executive Communication: Facilitate meetings and discussions with senior executives to present financial performance and support informed decision-making.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting & Analysis: Develop ad-hoc analysis reports to explore various scenarios and identify opportunities for ECS D2C functions and teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Drive standardization, process efficiencies, and system automation. Collaborate with finance and technical teams to improve data quality and forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MBA or CPA is considered ideal.

Professional Experience:

  • Over 7 years of progressive finance experience, including month-end processes, reporting, general ledger (GL) management, and budget management.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill financial analyses for leadership teams and work effectively with all organizational levels, including senior leaders.

Skills:

  • Business Partnering: Ability to support finance professionals with a focus on customer service and responsiveness.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills.
  • Technical Competence:
    • Advanced English level.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Familiarity with financial systems and tools such as OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, and SmartView.
