Requirements

Candidates must possess an Accounting Graduate degree along with a professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant or CPA. A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar industry, specifically within a Trading division, is required. Experience in capital and liquidity reporting within a bank is essential, as is expert knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, a strong understanding of end-to-end trade flow, and advanced MS Excel skills are necessary. Candidates should also demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, a self-starter attitude, and a willingness to learn about Fintech, blockchain, and digital assets.

Responsibilities

The role involves daily accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting according to US GAAP, IndAS, or IFRS standards, ensuring high-quality regulatory reporting to relevant authorities. Responsibilities include computing liquidity ratios and reporting capital and liquidity promptly to senior management and regulators. The Finance Associate will manage legal entities' regulatory filings, understand and meet reporting requirements to avoid resubmissions, and respond to regulator queries. They will also support trade operations and settlement teams by performing daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations and attestation procedures, gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, and assist in setting up processes, policies, and control frameworks. The position requires close collaboration with Trading and Trade-Ops teams, external consultants, and adaptability to perform multiple functions within the finance department as the organization grows.
