Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in investor reporting or a finance function, including at least 2 years of experience with Freddie, Fannie, or other investors. Familiarity with large data set analysis in Excel and experience with SQL is preferred. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills, are also required. A finance or accounting degree or 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is necessary, and the ability to meet deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities

As an Investor Reporting Analyst, you will complete daily and monthly reporting for investors within specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs), perform reconciliation, root cause analysis, and resolution of daily rejects or edits between Valon’s servicing platform and investor expectations, review and remit funds to investors and clients within SLAs, assist in the completion of client billing monthly, execute and problem-solve in day-to-day operations for Investor Reporting, collaborate with other servicing departments to build or improve cross-departmental tasks, assist with audits by providing required documentation or research, provide feedback on existing processes and process changes to improve operational efficiency, and collaborate with Product Managers and the Engineering team to implement new products or improvements.
