Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Excellent technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective working relationships across multiple areas within the business
  • Ability to work within strict monthly deadlines, responding quickly to inquiries and taking appropriate action
  • Ability to apply technical and process knowledge to develop, communicate, and implement operational improvements
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting and financial concepts

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end monthly external client rebate calculation and payment processes
  • Implement and handle Vanguard's rebate processes for international investors, including contract and agreement updates, client level calculations, and payments to investors
  • Liaise with client service teams on a regular basis to effectively respond to changing client demands
  • Act as the primary liaison with various transfer agents for Vanguard's European funds and communicate payment instructions
  • Support a range of accounting duties, including month-end processes, and assist supervisors and managers with investigating items
  • Support the Accounts Payable process
  • Work with other teams across finance to assist in gathering and analysis of financial data
  • Maintain and update policies and procedures in line with standard methodology
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Support the financial control team in daily activity and endeavors
