🇩🇪 Deine Mission

We are looking for a motivated Finance Associate (m/f/d) to support us in revolutionizing the electricity market as a digital electricity provider. As part of the Finance team, you will further develop and continuously optimize financial processes in one of Europe's leading digital energy companies. This includes optimizing financial planning, expanding and automating controlling and accounting, as well as supporting our funding and financing activities.

Deine Aufgaben

• Conducting and continuously improving financial planning and controlling, including the further development of existing Python tools.
• Supporting all funding and financing activities.
• Preparing board meetings and conducting investor reporting.
• Performing statistical reports and other reporting requirements.
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual financial statements in collaboration with our accountant and tax advisors (Rödl & Partner).
• Automating and further optimizing accounting processes, as well as reviewing accounting in moss (together with the accountant).

Dein Profil

• 2-3 years of full-time professional experience in finance, controlling, or consulting.
• Strong skills in evaluating (financial) data, particularly in financial planning with Excel.
• Prior knowledge of Python and SQL: you can write scripts for data processing to optimize financial and controlling processes.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and processes; terms like HGB, Datev, accruals, etc., are not foreign to you.
• Good communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2-C1), both written and spoken.
• Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in a young, high-pace work environment.
• Strong team player.

Schön zu haben (Nice to have)

• Initial experience or knowledge of the German energy market and its specific financial processes.
• Previous start-up experience.
