Knowledgeable on the principal activities of each designated legal entities
Familiarity with Haleon Internal Control Framework
Understanding of hub policies, local company legal and statutory requirements

Responsibilities

Participate in month-end general ledger close and reporting of designated China entities’ results
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and review journal entries
Execute internal controls in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework
Provide Record to Report transaction processing support, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Resolve general accounting and reporting issues
Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, cost center checks, and transaction posting checks
Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations where required
Liaise with stakeholders on Balance Sheet Reconciliations, specifically open items
Ensure compliance to hub policies, local company legal and statutory requirements
Review backlog and cycle time reports to improve process flow times
Attend to and resolve stakeholder queries in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner
Collaborate with local stakeholders and other finance functions (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat) to ensure successful month-end close
Provide guidance and on-the-job trainings to analyst members within the team
Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer, sharing of resources, knowledge, and experience
