Requirements

  • Knowledgeable on the principal activities of each designated legal entities
  • Familiarity with Haleon Internal Control Framework
  • Understanding of hub policies, local company legal and statutory requirements

Responsibilities

  • Participate in month-end general ledger close and reporting of designated China entities’ results
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and review journal entries
  • Execute internal controls in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework
  • Provide Record to Report transaction processing support, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Resolve general accounting and reporting issues
  • Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, cost center checks, and transaction posting checks
  • Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations where required
  • Liaise with stakeholders on Balance Sheet Reconciliations, specifically open items
  • Ensure compliance to hub policies, local company legal and statutory requirements
  • Review backlog and cycle time reports to improve process flow times
  • Attend to and resolve stakeholder queries in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders and other finance functions (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat) to ensure successful month-end close
  • Provide guidance and on-the-job trainings to analyst members within the team
  • Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer, sharing of resources, knowledge, and experience
