Requirements

Associate degree, college diploma, or undergraduate degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering
2+ years of hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining electronic, electro-mechanical, or refrigeration instruments
Proven technical aptitude and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service in field environments
Up to 80% flying and/or driving travel, including overnight stays (primarily domestic, occasionally international)
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms

Responsibilities

Provide technical service including installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments
Ensure operational compliance and communication by documenting service activities per Health Canada, FDA, and Leica policies
Maintain timely communication with internal teams and external customers to meet expectations
Demonstrate professionalism and continuous development by expanding product and application knowledge
Represent the company with integrity and maintain high customer satisfaction
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventive maintenance
Provide customer training and support as needed
