Requirements

  • Associate degree, college diploma, or undergraduate degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining electronic, electro-mechanical, or refrigeration instruments
  • Proven technical aptitude and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service in field environments
  • Up to 80% flying and/or driving travel, including overnight stays (primarily domestic, occasionally international)
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical service including installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments
  • Ensure operational compliance and communication by documenting service activities per Health Canada, FDA, and Leica policies
  • Maintain timely communication with internal teams and external customers to meet expectations
  • Demonstrate professionalism and continuous development by expanding product and application knowledge
  • Represent the company with integrity and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventive maintenance
  • Provide customer training and support as needed
