  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic components, 110-volt power connectivity wiring, computer hardware, and data cabling (preferred but will train)
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with high-level city officials and being the face of the company
  • Basic understanding of computer networking
  • Ability to work independently (safely and responsibly), as well as in a team and with subcontractors
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Be able to drive and operate a bucket truck
  • Lift up to 75 lbs
  • Operate hand and power tools
  • Handle regular exposure to outdoor elements

Responsibilities

  • Install, wire, connect, calibrate, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain automated traffic enforcement systems, field WAN networks, and surveillance equipment
  • Document, install, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems as needed
  • Travel independently to cities to work with subcontractors and engineering staff to install and maintain red light cameras and speed enforcement systems in the field
  • Follow guides and perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance on company equipment
  • Perform basic electrical work, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical and data connectivity hookups for various mechanical and electronic equipment
  • Programming/configuring of red-light camera and speed enforcement systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various red-light camera and speed enforcement system issues
  • Prioritize, and comply with processes and quality checklists
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, assignments, and report service data
  • Organize, manage, and safeguard truck stock parts and tools
