Great work ethic and willingness to learn new skills with provided training
Basic understanding in electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems with ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis
Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs
Proficient in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Valid driver’s license
Ability to live in specified city (Boston, MA)
Ability to work 5-day work week / 8 hours per day, which may include 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, night shifts, and on-call coverage (including holidays)
Physical ability to lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs; push and pull objects up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb vertical ladders and stairs; stand, sit, walk for long periods; twist, bend at knees, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach on uneven surfaces like concrete or asphalt
Ability to operate computer keyboard, phone, and motor vehicle (spending ~30% of day driving in city, rural, and expressway conditions)
Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold), warehouse conditions with dust, dirt, and wide temperature variances
Ability to discern visual and audible alarms/signals for equipment, evacuation, and fires
Occasional overnight travel required

Responsibilities
Work independently in the field to install chemical dispensing equipment and other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment
Deliver exceptional service to ensure customer retention and superior customer service (not sales-focused)
