Requirements

  • University Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of technical education and experience on sophisticated systems, or equivalent military experience
  • 2+ years experience using SEM, TEM, FIB, Circuit Analysis, or similar systems
  • Ability to partner effectively with customers
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills; must have a professional working proficiency in English
  • High level of proficiency on Windows software, network knowledge, current computer hardware
  • Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to secure entrance to US Government laboratories and facilities, if required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site installations across the region
  • Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits per commitments and schedule
  • Provide troubleshooting and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
  • Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with users and colleagues
  • Complete technical training, as required
  • Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems
  • Advise external customers, manufacturing and internal customers thru effective communication
  • Partner with colleagues as mentee and mentor to continue personal and team development
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for Service, documentation, and product factories
  • Collaborate with application scientists, technical support engineers, and customers to resolve complex customer challenges
