Requirements

  • 2+ years in a technical field service, robotics, or hardware support role
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly (30–50% anticipated)
  • Proficiency with Linux terminal, remote troubleshooting, and basic shell scripting
  • Strong hands-on skills with mechanical/electrical components and system-level debugging
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in industrial or warehouse environments
  • Capable of interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer locations to perform installation, repair, upgrades, and calibration of production robotic systems
  • Conduct field-based diagnostics, perform root cause analysis, and execute corrective actions to maintain uptime
  • Collaborate with Engineering Services and Engineering teams to deploy software updates, log issues, and provide feedback from the field
  • Replace and configure hardware components, sensors, and subsystems as needed
  • Execute configuration and parameter changes, including network and system settings on deployed robots
  • Interface directly with customer teams to provide status updates, answer technical questions, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain logs of service activity, diagnostics data, and configuration changes in a structured and reliable format
  • Support initial site bring-up and commissioning efforts for new deployments
  • Assist with documentation development and service procedure refinement
  • Support weekend and after-hours troubleshooting on an on-call rotation basis
