Responsibilities

  • Performs commissioning and start up of the newly delivered products (diesel-electric locomotive) in the region
  • Advises the customers in troubleshooting and product problem resolution during the warranty and post warranty periods
  • Supports the customers in the region in maintenance, repair and overhauls of the products
  • Assists the customers in developing their service infrastructure; establishes and maintains the training readiness of their organization
  • Promotes the culture and values of the organization. Facilitates smooth workflow; ensures high standards and quality of technical work
  • Drives the development of work plans, schedules and evaluation criteria for field service activities, projects with the customers
  • Executes all activities and staff for technical field service programs for product commissioning & start up, troubleshooting & issue resolution, maintenance, repair, and overhauls
