Requirements

Responsibilities

The Field Reimbursement Expert will manage daily patient access and reimbursement activities for accounts in a specified geography, supporting Alcon's surgical and ocular health portfolio. This role involves working with provider offices and outpatient facilities to educate staff on payer and reimbursement policies, coding, and claim appeals. The expert will establish and maintain strategic relationships with providers, partner with field sales, and analyze local market data. They will also serve as a subject matter expert for training and deployment of Value Tools, provide managed care and reimbursement training, and remain current on reimbursement activities and ophthalmic business trends. Additionally, they will share pertinent information with home office teams and represent Alcon at industry functions.
