Job Summary: CSL Vifor is seeking a Field Medical Advisor to support the current portfolio and upcoming product launches. This role will represent Medical Affairs externally, building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and key accounts.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of medical affairs principles and practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical data.
  • Adherence to global and local compliance and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Medical Affairs externally to establish and maintain medical relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and key accounts.
  • Provide input and execute country medical plans locally, representing medical expertise in TAs and through scientific engagement.
  • Deliver disease state education, medical information, and research support (externally and internally).
  • Share scientific insights from medical community interactions with local & global medical teams.
  • Train colleagues internally (e.g., MSLs, KAMs) in accordance with compliance and regulations.
  • Review promotional and non-promotional materials for medical accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-functional brand team meetings.
  • Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise in assigned TAs and products.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and professional organizations.
  • Identify and map HCPs in Tier 1, 2, and 3.
  • Facilitate scientific engagement and medical information exchange.
  • Provide Disease State Education, clinical presentations, and respond to medical requests.
  • Update medical team and stakeholders on medical community interactions.
  • Provide medical support for patient and formulary access, adhering to global and local policies.
  • Support the development, implementation, and completion of medical activities (advisory boards, congress symposia, hospital meetings, and speaker programs).
  • Contribute to disease awareness campaigns.
  • Serve as a medical resource for internal medical and sales training.
  • Support company-sponsored clinical research and IIS process (including RWD Registries).
  • Prepare and participate in launch activities.
  • Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences, summarizing key data and presentations.
  • Ensure product/therapy area specific training materials are current, comprehensive, and accurate.
  • Deliver training to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local and global laws, regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
