Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of field-based experience in the healthcare industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Economics, Marketing, Health Economics, Engineering, or Life Sciences
  • Experience in customer segmentation and working with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Based in the Bologna area
  • Willingness to travel across assigned regions (Emilia Romagna, Toscana & Marche) to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Background in cardiac care and experience in clinical marketing (ideal)
  • Solid understanding of the Italian healthcare system (ideal)
  • Involved in project management and execution of strategic market development initiatives (ideal)

Responsibilities

  • Build strong knowledge of Medtronic’s ILR (Implantable Loop Recorder) portfolio and its clinical indications, including regional and national reimbursement dynamics
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cardiac Diagnostic care pathways across assigned territories and clinical use cases
  • Tailor patient pathways in collaboration with hospitals and customers, based on different ILR indications
  • Design and execute a regional annual plan of market development activities, in close partnership with the local sales team, to support patient access to diagnostic solutions
  • Collaborate and exchange insights with Market Development Sales Representatives across Italy to leverage collective expertise and regional insights
  • Maintain an active dialogue with the marketing team to ensure the Cardiac Diagnostic solutions are well positioned for healthcare professionals and patients
  • Continuously enhance the customer experience, adopting a solution- and results-oriented approach
  • Deliver internal and external training on key market development themes in alignment with communication strategies for various customer segments
  • Commit to ongoing learning to maintain a high level of clinical and technical knowledge
