Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in an Application Engineer/Field Application Engineer role, ideally within the semiconductor industry, and demonstrate familiarity with GNSS communication systems and communication chip architectures. Experience with various bench test and measurement equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, AWGs, and oscilloscopes, is required, along with embedded hardware/software experience, including real-time low-power systems.

Responsibilities

The Field Application/Application Engineer will design innovative hardware and software solutions for internal and external needs, optimize products for performance, power efficiency, and integration requirements, understand the GNSS/IoT competitive landscape, provide input into strategic roadmap initiatives, assess feasibility and design criteria for customized solutions, develop evaluation boards and kits, lead product documentation efforts using tools like Confluence and Jira, provide technical expertise during pre-sales engagements, deliver impactful product demonstrations, and craft compelling responses to RFQ/RFP/RFI proposals.
