  • Knowledge of customer protection and collection ethics by financial services authority (OJK)
  • Knowledge of marketing and customer service concepts and techniques

  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply financing and taxation principles
  • Knowledge of financing and leasing documentation principles
  • Knowledge of billing and invoicing concepts
  • Knowledge of all filing requirements and the applicability to bankruptcy laws and regulations
  • Ability to sit, focus on computer screen, and type on a keyboard, and make contact with customers via telephone system for long periods of time (at least 2 hours)
  • A 4-year college or university degree in any discipline (top candidates)

Responsibilities

  • Collects delinquent and deficiency or write-downs contracts through any valid communication means and field visits
  • Recommends and conducts equipment repossessions, which includes arranging legal correspondence and transportation and safe storage of the equipment
  • Reports recovery collection results and recommends settlement proposal
  • Develops and nurtures a strong working relationship with repossession vendors and outside counsels for assigned deficiency recovery portfolio
  • Follow up, coordinates timely resolution, and escalation of long-outstanding deficiency accounts collection
  • Reports individual collection activities to the Manager on regular basis and as requested
  • Provide status update and/or historical reporting as required through internal reporting system and to management on collection activities at account level
  • May provide timely reporting of repossessed assets or accounts and deficiency accounts being referred for legal action to other business units as required, including Special Accounts, Remarketing and Legal
  • Understands the established continuous improvement objectives for the department. Measures progress toward the continuous improvement standards and ensure that the necessary measurements are maintained. Participates in the resolution of any identified problems. Analyses data and makes all business decisions based on such analysis
  • Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment
