Requirements

  • High School diploma or possession of a GED Certificate
  • 3+ years of hands-on facilities experience, preferably in battery manufacturing, R&D laboratory, and/or semiconductor startup environments
  • Familiarity with typical lab equipment (multimeters, pressure/vacuum gauges, pH, etc.)
  • Hands-on knowledge of laboratory plumbing and plumbing fittings, machine/equipment setup experience, and use of hand and power tools in the field
  • Ability to read control schematics and P&ID drawings
  • Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures
  • This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections and data logging for facilities equipment and waste treatment systems
  • Operate and maintain our waste treatment systems, including troubleshooting, management, and waste handling
  • Monitor inventories of chemicals and consumables for facilities, and ordering supplies
  • Ensure near 100% uptime for our process and R&D teams by repairing and maintaining general facilities, furnishings, and equipment
  • Organize storage, critical spare parts, and tools for easy finding
