Requirements

High School diploma or possession of a GED Certificate
3+ years of hands-on facilities experience, preferably in battery manufacturing, R&D laboratory, and/or semiconductor startup environments
Familiarity with typical lab equipment (multimeters, pressure/vacuum gauges, pH, etc.)
Hands-on knowledge of laboratory plumbing and plumbing fittings, machine/equipment setup experience, and use of hand and power tools in the field
Ability to read control schematics and P&ID drawings
Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures
This position will often: Sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections and data logging for facilities equipment and waste treatment systems
Operate and maintain our waste treatment systems, including troubleshooting, management, and waste handling
Monitor inventories of chemicals and consumables for facilities, and ordering supplies
Ensure near 100% uptime for our process and R&D teams by repairing and maintaining general facilities, furnishings, and equipment
Organize storage, critical spare parts, and tools for easy finding
