Responsibilities

Performs repairs and maintenance in utilities, facilities, or on machines and equipment
Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration
Manage HVAC equipment: Chillers, Air Handling units, pumps, etc., through Building Automation system (BAS)
Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
Uses hand and power tools
Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications
Monitors program/project/system status, budgets, and timetables
Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development
Gathers and compiles information for reports
Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking, and coding
Documents tasks, repairs, and maintenance activities through CMMS and service platforms (SAP and Service Now)
Ability to manage many clients at a time, utilities equipment, electrical main distribution panels, emergency generators, etc
Utilizes Building Automation (BAS) to remotely control Air Handling units
Promotes employee awareness/training on matters of environmental, health, and safety
Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical and mechanical infrastructure in facilities
Installs, operates, monitors, and maintains utilities, including HVAC setup, maintenance and balancing, WFI (water for injection), purified water, and process equipment
Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies
Develops, maintains, and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools
Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency
Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes
