Requirements

Candidates must possess an Active Secret Clearance, a minimum of four years’ experience in providing support for facility management activities, proficiency in the English language, experience doing light drywall repair and patching, the ability to use small tools such as screw drivers and hammers, experience in furniture assembly and dis-assembly, the ability to lift/carry/move 40-60 lb. boxes, the ability to walk and stand for extended periods, climb ladders, address post-move punch list items, set up conference room space, assist with special projects, drive an agency-provided vehicle with a valid driver’s license, escort visitors/contractors, and pass a government level “suitability” background investigation.

Responsibilities

The Facilities Support Staff will prepare finished products for shipment or storage, hang signage and artwork, remove and pack items for move and storage, perform small construction jobs and remodeling trades, stain-grade trim work, interior painting, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, install electrical and video wiring, install TVs/Projectors, set windows, read blueprints, utilize math skills for material estimates, verify materials, and assist with various projects as needed.
