Requirements

  • Experience in vehicle maintenance, documentation, certifications, and conformance with manufacturer services

Responsibilities

  • Direct and monitor associates for building, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration systems, power industrial equipment, and security maintenance
  • Oversee operation, monitoring, and maintenance of refrigeration systems to meet temperature standards and prevent product loss
  • Manage, assign, and oversee facility operations activities and capital projects, minimizing impact on operations
  • Lead creation of a safety culture, ensuring injury-free operations for all associates
  • Recruit, train, coach, evaluate staff performance, administer discipline, manage labor hours, schedules, and budgets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., utilities, refrigeration, janitorial, pest control, security)
  • Oversee selection, purchase, utilization, inventory control of assets (e.g., racking, material handling, refrigeration, fuel, shop equipment); monitor life cycles and recommend replacements/upgrades
  • Partner with QA and sanitation teams for food safety compliance, facility cleanliness, inspections, pest control, and allergen management
  • Ensure all company-owned vehicles are in proper working condition through maintenance and oversight
  • Optimize workflows using CMMS and automation technologies; partner with third-party providers; implement sustainability initiatives
  • Lead and develop fleet and facilities operations/maintenance team; ensure regulatory compliance and proactive maintenance
