Requirements

  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • At least 7 years of industry experience or a master’s degree in the relevant field
  • Technical competence in:
  • Quadrotor control systems and hardware
  • PID Controllers and advanced state estimation filters (EKF, UKF)
  • Automated Path Planning using graph algorithms
  • Coordinate systems (Rotation Matrices, Quaternions) and 3D robot motion control
  • Sensor Fusion and probabilistic methods for tracking and localization
  • Experience teaching technical concepts and public speaking
  • Positive character and ability to create emotional ties with students
  • Flexibility to take on part-time work as an external contractor

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for students over an online community forum
  • Answer questions around course content and facilitate content for students who get stuck
  • Host one weekly live virtual session to offer direct, real-time support to students
  • Redirect learners to appropriate support channels and escalate issues to the Mentor Operations team when needed
