Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • No experience required; decorating experience preferred
  • General knowledge of cake decorating: icing, writing with icing, and making roses
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends, occasional Tuesdays, Sundays, and holidays
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs
  • Ability to read and understand pass-out sheets and special orders
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Constant bending, stretching, pulling/pushing, good eye/hand coordination, and repetitive wrist motion

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and decorating products for delivery to store locations
  • Following safe, sanitary food handling policies to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses
  • Working under close supervision
  • Performing repetitive, clearly defined manual jobs that impact own work
  • Cleaning work areas, taking out trash, mopping floors, restocking packaging and labels
  • Occasionally working in other production areas based on production needs
