Responsibilities

Implement, refine, and innovate the action plan to support Mason Hillel’s strategic vision, positioning the organization as a leader in serving college-age and college-stage individuals in Northern Virginia
Inspire and organize pluralistic, diverse Jewish life on and off campus
Connect Mason Hillel to regional and national initiatives through partnerships with Hillel International and regional partners
Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, student and university leaders, Jewish community leaders, alumni, and parents
Work with university and external partners to ensure Jewish students feel safe and have a place on campus
Lead financial resource development, cultivating stakeholders like lay leadership, foundations, and community members
Oversee operations and fiscal management, sustaining growth and meeting evolving needs
Serve as a persuasive spokesperson and storyteller for diverse audiences
Supervise and collaborate with staff to expand the base of the Jewish student community on and off campus, encompassing diverse backgrounds
Develop, nurture, and manage a multi-dimensional organizational structure to achieve goals
Connect individually and meaningfully with students, providing mentorship for their Jewish journey
Continuously evaluate programs and initiatives
