Requirements

Candidates must possess 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting a CEO and engaging with boards of directors and high net worth constituents. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required, along with strong administrative skills, including strategic calendar management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is essential, and familiarity with Adobe Professional and Dropbox is a plus. The role necessitates the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. Candidates must be capable of working with confidential information with discretion and working with minimum supervision, exercising good judgment and diplomacy, and taking initiative. Prior experience using a constituent information database for fundraising or marketing purposes, specifically Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge or Every Action, is preferred. Prior experience in a non-profit, higher education, or healthcare setting where confidentiality and constituent information privacy are top priorities is also required.

Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant will collaborate closely with the CEO to complete a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the effective functioning of NRCM’s Office of the CEO. This includes sophisticated calendar management, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts, responding to requests from staff, board members, members/donors, and community leaders, and coordinating travel arrangements. The Executive Assistant will manage internal and external meetings, providing support to the CEO’s ability to lead the organization and engage with stakeholders.
